ZYMOX® PLUS Advanced Otic Enzymatic Solution with 1% Hydrocortisone offers an enhanced approach to managing persistent or recurring ear irritations in pets. This advanced formula combines the patented LP3 Enzyme System with four additional biofilm-reducing enzymes: mutanase, dextranase, cellulase, and beta-glucanase. These enzymes target and break down the complex biofilms that contribute to antibiotic resistance and chronic infections. The addition of 1% Hydrocortisone provides significant relief from itching and discomfort caused by inflammation, dermatitis, and other minor skin irritations.

Useful Information
Directions for Use:
If condition persists or worsens, consult your veterinarian.
Keep out of reach of children. Store at room temperature.
- Shake the bottle well before use.
- Apply liberally to the uncleaned ear canal.
- Gently massage the base of the ear to help the solution penetrate deeply.
- Wipe to remove excess solution and debris from the outer ear.
- Allow your pet to shake their head to assist in removing any remaining excess.
- Apply once daily for 7 days, or as directed by your veterinarian.

THIS IS THE ONLY PRODUCT IN THIS LINE OF ZYMOX THAT I USE IT WILL KNOCK OUT EAR PROBLEMS IN 7 DAY OF TREATMENT. IT IS THE BEST !!!! I LOVE MY FUR BABY !!

My dog seems to get chronic ear irritations. He will shake his head many times / day, and though there was no "infection", there was a small build-up, so our Vet recommended this product. We use it for 7 days and it seems to alleviate the problem.

I was a little skeptical at first but started using it as directed and such a GREAT and IMMEDIATE improvement! We tried everything from vet pills/drops to otc treatments. Wicked happy I got this product! I feel you won't be disappointed!

Zymox Plus has been the salvation for our poor dog's chronic ear issues. We went through the "vet route" -- antibiotics (several rounds), special ear wash, and prescription ear drops (one of which caused our dog to lose her hearing for 4 months). Nothing beats Zymox Plus. If you are discouraged with the lack of results and GIGANTIC vet bills from prescription treatments of chronic ear issues, please give Zymox Plus a try. You will NOT be disappointed!

This is an AMAZING and life-changing product. We had used Zymox for years on one of our German Shepherd's that had chronic ear issues...It was the ONLY thing that worked for him -- after hundreds of later....no permanent resolution. Then, when we were at our wits' end....we discovered Zymox Plus. WIth consistent use -- as directed on the product, our dog's ears have cleared up. I recently realized I've been getting prescription Mometamax for six years with barely a result. My friend recommended I try Zymox Plus so I did. Our Springer has had chronic ear problems for a long time and we've tried a lot of things. A couple vets thought we should do surgery (Total Ear Canal Ablasion). I decided to try to manage his symptoms. His left ear is looking very good. His right ear is questionable, but tolerable, I think. We're told he has pseudomonas behind his ear drum. Since this product appears to help control his symptoms, I will be continuing to use it.

Great product for chronic ear issues

I have two Schnauzers, one with grain allergies and she is prone to get ear issues even on grain-free foods. I am so glad I can order this product on line for use when she does get an ear issue. I've been to the vet numerous times and every time, there is no answer, just a big bill and this same product. Now I can safely treat my Nugget's ear issues when they do arise and no additional vet bill! After a week of treatment, her ears are good as new!

Zymox Plus works great, I have a lab with allergies and always getting ear infections, this is so much cheaper than the meds. from the vet and it works overnight she is also always licking her paws making them really red at times. I put this on her paws at night and by morning they are nice and pink again. Even though this doesn't say it is for paws.

Our dog Stella had constant ear problems! She would shake her head and scratch her ears until they would bleed! They would balloon up and it would be back to the vet. The only solution the vet had was surgery but with no guarantee that it would stop her. We searched for our own solution and came across zymox plus otic enzymatic solution. We bought it hoping it would just give her a little relief. We used it for a week but within the first 2 days it had already dramatically reduced her shaking and swelling! It was amazing! At the end of the week her bad ear looked almost better then her good ear! I don't ordinarily write reviews but my dad said we needed to let everyone whose dog has bad ear problems that there is hope out there. Thank you to the makers of zymox for giving relief from constant ear problems to Stella and us. Hopefully this helps everybody! We will be using this if he ear problems ever return!

My Labrador had very bad ear infections, After numerous attempts with antibiotics and steroids I asked a friend for advice. She said they used Zymox because it was not an antibiotic but an enzyme formula that "ate" the bacteria. My labs ears have been clear with only a touch up application 1 to 2 times a week.

I would give this product 25 stars, if I could. My dog has been suffering with itching ears and skin issues for 6 years. She has been on prescription Atopica and a wide range of other products. I had even thought about having her put to sleep because she was soooo miserable. The vets were not able to help much and BELEIVE me we were at their office or on the phone with them many times for these issues. I used this product and saw a difference on the first day. The second day, I did not give the dog any benadryl, the antihistimine I was using to keep her itching under control. I can not say enough good things about this product.I bought the shampoo, the rinse and also the topical cream with the HC. All have been GREAT. I will pass this information on the my vet.

Ear scratching, but no smell. Usually use Malecetic Solution, but both my guys have an array of allergies. Figured I try something new. I don't know if the gel-like consistency bothered them, but they both hated it. I continued to use it for the next 3 days, but only by apply it to a q-tip and going into the canal ever so slightly. After they shook their heads, I wiped the product all over the pink of the ears with a cotton ball. It did help them not to scratch, but it was a trial to use. Went back to Malecetic.
