    Good way to protect seats
    January 21, 2014
I purchased the hammock to use when I went on a trip for Thanksgiving with my pooch Buster. The hammock did work to keep the dog hair off the back seat. It was easy to install and fit all the way across the seat. The only problem was that my 50 pound Mamas Boy refused to stay in the back seat and quickly figured out how to slide over the top edge and into the passenger seat.

    Good product and value

Did a lot of research on products/options for a back-seat cover for my 110 pound dog. There seemed to be a lot of options in various price ranges, but I finally settled on this one, which was a great price and looked like it fit the requirement.

I'm very happy with this Outward Hound seat cover. Some reviews made it sound flimsy or like it would rip. If my 110 pound guy doesn't rip it, I think it's a good product for this price. It attaches easily to the 4 headrests (front and rear) and although it comes with attached discs to stuff in the seat crack to hold the back in place, they slip out but aren't really necessary anyway.

If I had a suggested improvement it would be for side flaps to come down on the sides to protect the side of the seat. My dog is very ungraceful when trying to get in the car and always ends up flipping the seat cover up because there's nothing to hold it down. But that's minor.

This does the job, is easy to get on and off when I need to use the seat for passengers, and was a great price. I'd buy it again.

Wet dogs are not good on leather car seats. Try one of these and see if you like it

    Not for Full size pickup

Quality seems to be good. It's holding up well so far. It is, however, too small for my club cab F250. Probably fit a car if it isn't too big.

    Didn't work exactly as planned

I was really hoping the hammock would encourage the dogs to stay in the backseat but unfortunately it didn't stop our bold puppy. It is a great seat cover and for a calm dog it may work but it didn't work exactly as planned for us. We will continue to use it but continue to push her in the back seat as often as possible.

We've had this hammock for a few years now and it has really held up great. The dogs are safe in the backseat. Works nice with the velcro slit for human passengers in the back. You don't have to remove the hammock.
