A little goes a long way!

My dog eats wet dog food and dry dog food. I use this on her dry dog food and moisten all of it. Definitely makes a difference!

Have used Nutri-Cal before and this Nutri-Stat was a cheaper option. Haven't seen it increase my dog's appetite, yet. meanwhile, the extra calories are good for her and all 3 dogs like the taste. Nutri-Cal is a thicker gel and this tends to drip off the spoon:)

I have a little 4 pound maltihuahua who has a very finicky tummy. She oftentimes does not eat in the morning, so I give her a few squeezes of Nutri -Stat throughout the day and it really helps her have the energy to get through the day "til dinner time!
I have been using it for 7 years with my Maltese and Chihuahuas and it works beautifully to help prevent sugar shock and hypoglycemia in the smaller pups!

I am using this for my Siberian Husky who is possibly going into liver failure. She refuses to eat and after giving her a dose of this about an hour later she will eat something.

Very good for weight gain
December 12, 2011
What are the odds that an adult cat is too skinny?! Fortunately she loves this kind of stuff in a tube and this definitely helps them gain weight (watch out - it really works after a couple of months.) Be aware that even though it doesn't have mineral oil in it, there is a bit of laxative effect, though not as extreme as with hairball remedies so can be used daily without any ill effects as far as I know. However, I would check with your vet to make sure.
