The Pet Loo has a urine draining system and is effective for animals, young and old. It is easy to use and easy to clean and the synthetic grass will ensure a long lasting product which will solve your animal problems time and time again.
Useful Information
There are many varying types of synthetic grass on the market. The Synthetic grass used for The Pet Loo is of optimum quality to reduce your hassles. After lengthy testing, we have ensured that the perforations on the base mat guarantee maximum drainage.
The grass only needs to be replaced if you feel it's necessary (click here if you would like to order more Pet Loo grass). For cleaning purposes pour warm water over the grass daily or alternatively lift it out and hose it down (in the shower if necessary) - remove the grass to allow it to dry. For times when The Pet Loo is not in use (eg: overnight) remove the grass from The Base to air it out.
The Base
The base is slightly angled to assist gravity in the catchment of urine. It has been reinforced specifically to support the weight of an animal and is shaped to channel the urine towards the collection jug.
In order to clean the base, simply remove the grass and wipe the base down with warm water. It is important to know that the use of any cleaning agents on The Base may repel your animal and compromise the purpose of The Pet Loo.
Catchment Jug
The catchment jug holds approximately 1.75 liters of liquid and is situated in such a position that ensures the urine is filtered evenly. It is made of a material which is resistant to the acidity of urine and the smells which accompany it. The jug has been positioned and designed to such a shape and size so that it is easily removed and waste can be poured down the toilet with no spillage.

What size Pet Loo is right for me?
The Pet Loo has been designed for medium to large breed of dogs, while the Mini Wee can be used by small and miniature breeds of dog.
The Kitty Kat is not just limited to use by cats, it can also be used by rabbits, guinea pigs and other small animals.
What about faeces?
As you would in a normal backyard or park, simply scoop the faeces from the top of the Pet Loo and dispose of it in a garbage bin.
How often do I have to buy new synthetic grass?
While we have gone through great strengths to make Pet Loo grasses as durable and tough as possible, The Pet Loo Grass will need replacing overtime. This will depend on how often you clean The Pet Loo, how many dogs are using it and the day to day positioning of The Pet Loo. Purchasing new grasses is at your discretion.
Can I move The Pet Loo around or does it have to stay in one place?
You may need to do this in the crucial training stage, however please note that although our dog may be using The Pet Loo confidently, a sudden change to their toileting habits may confuse them. Make sure that if you are moving the location of The Pet Loo, that your dog is introduced to the new position promptly and in a positive manner. The Pet Loo is suitable for indoor and outdoor use.
Do I have to put it together myself?
The Pet Loo is bought as one piece. The work involved in assembling the product has been done for you, allowing you to simply enjoy its benefits.
My Synthetic Grass seems to be losing grass blades around the edge. Should this be happening?
The Pet Loo Grass does not have finished edges as it would be a trap for urine and faeces. If the mat is cut on the tuft it is normal for the grass to shed at the edges, just as a new carpet would. This should subside over time and is nothing to worry about in terms of the product's effectiveness.
Why does my Pet Loo replacement grass not Fit the Pet Loo?
If you purchased one of the very original Pet Loo's (circa 2006-2007) you will notice that it's 2cm larger in both width and length than the current Pet Loo. Replacement Grass for these Loo's are not always in stock at your local pet store. However, these larger grasses can be specially ordered in for you.
How can I tell which Loo is a generation 3 Pet Loo?
Pee-Pads were designed to fit into the containment Jug of a generation 3 Pet Loo. All generation 3 Pet Loo's have the words "The Pet Loo" embossed into the front panel of the catchment jug. If the front of the catchment jug is bare and logo free, then it means the Loo is a generation 1 or 2.
