Amount may be double for hard-working dogs.
Directions for Daily Oral Equine Use Maintenance: ½ ounce (15ml) per 1,200 lbs once daily Quantity can be double for initial 7 days or prior to competition.
Dosing Tips: For optimum results, daily dosage with LubriSyn is recommended. This is important because hyaluronan introduced into the body from any source-whether orally or by injection-last only 24 to 48 hours. It is therefore essential to replenish hyaluronan on a regular basis. A daily dose of LubriSyn provides hyaluronan in its natural state to help replenish the synovial fluid in joints, keeping them cushioned and lubricated.
CAUTIONS: Safe use in pregnant animals or animals intended for breeding has not been proven. If animal's condition worsens or does not improve, stop product administration and consult your veterinarian.
WARNINGS: For animal use only. Keep out of the reach of children. In case of an accidental overdose, contact a health professional immediately. This product should not be given to animals intended fo rhuman consumption.

Easy to feed!

I had heard from several friends how great LubriSyn HA was, decided to give it a try on a 5yr old HUS gelding that pops and snaps in his hocks. I was wanting a preventative that was affordable and easy to feed. So far so good. Really impressed with the results so far.

Best Stuff Ever

My mini American shepherd is 9 years old and we compete in Rally Obedience. Lubrisyn got him through the National Championships last year and helped him qualify for them again this year. He has stiffness in his left shoulder and occasionally his back. Lubrisyn has made him so comfortable that he sails over jumps with confidence and can concentrate on learning and performing rather than worrying about pain. This product also helped my geriatric rescue dog with bad knees get back to running around like a spring chicken. Great product that is worth every dime.

the jury is out

This is the second gallon that we have purchased. Don't see any visible change in our Golden Retriever's mobility. Best I can say is that maybe without it he would be worse off. Will give it one more try. Think I am buying out of love and guilt, not efffectiveness of the product.

First off, it's important to diagnose where the problem is with your horse. If the pain is related to the spinal column and along the back then HA, not a glucosamine/chondroitin joint product, is the best treatment, and the HA molecules in LubriSyn are small enough to cross the blood brain barrier and bring relief to the spinal/back issues. It may seem pricey to some but it's more expensive to keep a horse you can't ride than pay what you need to pay in order to have a horse that you can ride.

I had been using other forms of joint supplement, and none even came close to relieving my mare of her arthritis pain until this. My farrier told me about this two years ago and I haven't had one lame step with her once she had the loading dose and was on maintenance. It's easy, odorless, and I pour on her feed and she gobbles it up like it wasn't even there. She was shown western pleasure (at two and three years) and had had her hocks injected for relief. As a result, she has arthritis in her hocks,(she's 16 now) but with this supplement, she moves so well, you can't tell if she is ever sore anymore!
