Useful Information
Direction for Mixing KMW Powder: Gently stir or shake 1 part powdered KMR into 2 parts warm water (a part may be a teaspoon, tablespoon or cup). Do not mix more KMR than can be consumed in 24 hours. Do not use a blender. Reconstituted KMR should be kept refrigerated. One 12 oz. (340g) can of powder makes approximately 60 oz. (1.7L) of liquid mixed 1.2.
Directions for Feeding: All kittens should receive their mother's milk for at least 2 days, if possible. This colostrum milk gives extra nutrition and temporary immunity against some diseases. Warm reconstituted KMR to room or body temperature before serving. Feed kittens 2 tablespoons (30ml) of liquid KMR per 4 ounces (115g) of body weight daily. The daily feeding amount should be divided into equal portions for each feeding. Kitten's need will cary and this amount may have to be increased or decreased depending on the individual. Young and/or weak kittens should be fed every 3 to 4 hours. Older kittens can do well being fed every hours. Weigh the kittens 3 times per week to assure adequate feeding. Consult your veterinarian for additional advice. The PetAg 2oz. (60mL) Small Animal Nurser is suited for feeding most kittens. When kittens are old enough to lap, begin offering reconstituted KMR in a saucer. During the 5th week mix reconstituted KMR and KMR® 2nd Step™ Kitten Weaning Food. Use of the KMR and 2nd Step will allow the kitten to be gradually switched to solid food.
Pregnant and lactating queens: Feed 2 teaspoons (4g) KMR powder per 5 lbs. (2.2kg) body weight daily.
Growing kittens already on solid food, show cats, and/or convalescing cats: Feed 1 teasppon (2kg) KMW powder per 5 lbs. (2.2kg) body weight daily by top dressing food.

Good for aging kitties too
June 18, 2018
I buy this for my elderly cats to provide the vitamins they need since chewing food is difficult. My only complaint is that in less than a year it has gone from a little over $7 per 12 oz can to $19 per 12 oz can so I had to stop buying it.
Pros
- Good for aging cats
Cons
- Way too expensive

This is an outstanding product. We were blessed to have found a sweet baby hours old that had been left in the dirt by his mom. We waited for hours for her return but no luck. We then went on a hunt for a milk substitute and lucked upon this product! It is wonderful! Easy digested and worked well with a newborns system. No diarrhea, no vomiting just one hungry kitty who prospered. What we had left we sent over to an Ag High School and they were amazed as well!!

I have 1 can of powder KMR & 3 newborns to fed. How long will 1 can last (estimate).?

It depends on how often you use it. If you use one scoop (with two scoops of warm water) you should have enough for at least one feeding. I would feed at least 3-4 Times per day or if they are drinking from a bowl refresh when it thickens over time or replace. It should last 2-3 weeks. I use it for my older cats so they drink larger amounts. The premixed liquid in a can is easier but must be used within 3 days so it may be a waste for tiny kittens. Just be sure to stir the powder and warm water very well to get lumps out. Kittens may not be able to handle the lumps.

Hi, newborn cat should still get the mothers milk along with this. This should last about a month or less, just really depends on how much you feed your kittens
