I am top dressing food for 135# Maremma sheep dog w/ slight sprained fetlock . He is doing wonderful and since this is yummy he takes it well. I will put him back on the chewable tabs for maintenance when fully recovered. I also top dress food for little Chihuahuas being actively treated for tracheal collapse, a common condition for small breed dogs. Too often this condition is not recognized or treated. The coughing has improved. My little buddy is doing much better . I will maintain my Chihuahuas on this product for building and repair of tracheal cartilage. Tiny dogs w/ fragile joints need all the support they can get. The soft chew treats are a very good bonus training treat.
He is now 14 and loves the liquid in his food. 1/2 oz twice a day helps his hips so he can move without pain. I really noticed a difference when there was a manufacturing issue a few year back and I ran out. He was uncomfortable and walked with a limp. It's been over 3 years and I now order in bulk. I don't want to run out again. I know my Golden is in his last days and I want to make him as comfortable as possible...
Thanks
