DVM HyLyt Creme Rinse (8 oz)

I've used the HyLyt creme rinse on my dogs for years it's simply the best. During the winter when skin is drier I use it full strength and during the summer I dilute it. It leaves them smelling clean not "perfumey" and that's a good thing!

I use this with the HyLyt Shampoo. First, I love the smell. Second, a little bit goes a long way with this stuff. Third, it's nonirritating, so if some of it's left behind (if you've ever tried to rinse my dogs, you'd understand how that could happen), my dog's not going to get itchy. Finally, the creme rinse helps keep my dogs coat from getting too tangled/matted - I have standard poodles, and the boy's coat is very tightly curled and dense (read: will mat when you look at it), and the girl's coat is more relaxed but yet wiry (likes to get tangled because she wrestles the boy)....since using the creme rinse, I've had to deal with fewer tangles, which makes everyone happy.

I have a Maltese mix, probably mixed with bichon or poodle. Some Maltese have silky hair, some have cotton candy hair that tangles almost immediately after brushing. Mine has cotton candy hair, and that means grooming time is not a happy time for either of us. I shampoo him every 2 or 3 weeks with HyLyt Shampoo. After a thorough rinse, I slather on a LOT of this conditioner and let it soak in for a minute or two. Then I rinse, but not too, too thoroughly. I try to leave some of it in his hair but not so much that his hair feels greasy. Helps tremendously, smells very good. He has a lot of allergies and this gives him no problems whatsoever. Absolutely no itching. The only reason I don't give it 5 stars is that it doesn't eliminate the tangling completely, but it works better than anything else I have tried and I've tried a lot. I've used this for years now.

This is a fabulous product. It has emollients that sooth and moisturize you dogs skin and leaves the coat absolutely shimmering. Highly Recommend!!!
