I bought this back in 2009 for my dog, Max,for Christmas. Now it's October 2015 and we still have this same toy. He loves it!!! It played music but he played with it so much the battery broke which is my only problem. There isn't anyway to take it out so I cant replace it. I am still rating this 5 stars because for 5-6 years it has not broke and has remained a favorite.

Candy Cane Toy 10"

Instead of squeeking this toy plays "we wish you a merry christmas" - I only put the candy cane toy out from about Thanksgiving to Valentines day and it is cute to hear the festive music randomly during the day and evening while the dogs (3) and I am awake. The dogs love them and after I have cleaned up the house after the holidays it is a reminder of the fun we had as a family during the holidays.
