Westminster Dog Show 2013
The prestigious Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show held its 137th annual dog show on February 11th and February 12th in New York.
There were over 2,700 entries in 187 breeds and varieties. A little dog that resembles a “monkey face” named Banana Joe, an Affenpinscher breed, won Best in Show. Normally dominated by Terriers, this is the first time the Affenpinscher breed has won. It’s a great accomplishment for dog handler Michael Dougherty and now in the record books.
