Max 4/21/14

	When our last little dog passed away my husband and I agreed that we would not have another dog, as we are getting on in years. I first saw a photo of Max on the DARG facebook page, and instantly fell in love. He is a Maltese cross and we believe he is about 8 years old. We adopted him the next day, and as it was obvious he had some health issues we took him to our vet, who said "take him back to where you got him from". I could not bring myself to do that and so went to another vet who addressed the problems one by one. This resulted in Max having all but one of his teeth extracted, poor little chap. However, he is now loving his soft food and is a healthy, happy little boy. We live in a retirement complex in Kenilworth, Cape Town. He is a favorite among the residents bringing smiles to all he greets. He has brought so much joy into our lives, and as a bonus, I have lost some weight through all our walks. We love you Max!
