Linus is currently being "trained" by our two cats, who were adopted several years ago from the same animal shelter. Our male cat, Kirby and Linus have bonded. However, Emmy, our female cat, is not impressed with Linus. Linus knows this and tries to "woo" her throughout the day, without much success. The other day, Linus presented Emmy with his well-chewed rawhide bone. This was a big deal, as Linus does not share anything. He crawled on his belly and scooted the bone with his nose over to where Emmy was sprawled. Linus was met with a hiss, not the kiss he was hoping for. Our cats have also taken over Linus' bed. But, because he does not like being warm, Linus can be found lying on the nice cool tile in our kitchen (which happens to be closer to the food)!! Linus got the last laugh...or bark, afterall!! | |||||||||||||||
