Haiti size 1 collar
August 9, 2016
Although the Size 1 was the size listed for my cairn terrier, the strap that attaches to the collar is too long and he catches his foot in it frequently so we can't use the Halti at all. I have used this collar on my German Shepherd in the past with great success. It didn't have the extra piece on it (an earlier version).

I have a mini schnauzer. What size would he need?
1 Answer
I've included relevant sizing info below- but Size 1 seems like a safe bet for a miniature schnauzer.
How to Measure: Using a flexible measuring tape 1) measure the circumference of the thickest part of the dog's snout, which is closest to the base of the head; 2) measure the circumference of the dog's neck starting at the point directly behind his jaw.
Small
Snout: 5" retracted to 12" extended
Neck: 6" retracted to 12" extended
Examples: Westie, Jack Russell, Yorkie, Border Terrier
Medium
Snout: 8" retracted to 15" extended
Neck: 6" retracted to 17" extended
Examples: Labrador, German Shepard, Boxer, Doberman, Retriever
Large
Snout: 10.5" retracted to 17.5" extended
Neck: 6" retracted to 24" extended
Examples: Rottweiler, Great Dane, Newfoundland, Large German Shepard
