EGUSIN 250 alfalfa pellets is a natural dietetic feed supplement for horses that has been demonstrated to be beneficial in promoting a healthy stomach and an aid in preventing the destruction of the stomach lining associated with gastrointestinal disorders. It contains a combination of ingredients that not only addresses the primary causes of gastrointestinal disturbances but also avoids their recurrence. Easy to administer, no waste dustless top dress in a palatable formulation is mixed into feed concentrate. Contains dietetic soluble fibers, which improve intestinal function. Does not contain any drugs or prohibited substances. The 10-lb. pail is a 21-day supply for one horse.

Great product for treating ulcers!

I have tried several ulcer medications for treating a mare that we have that has ulcers and this has been the best treatment for the money. After the treatment is done then you do the maintenance for one more month and then no more ISSUES...and cost is cheap to do compared to keeping then on a paste for a long time...you will see results in less than 5 days from the start

Seeing Results!

I have finally found a product to help my 25 yr QH mare with her digestive issues! She's a cribber and always wind sucks after eating her feed. After being on this product for the last two months, I (And my barn mates) have noticed a significant decrease in cribbing. I only wish that the product was a full 30 day supply instead of a 21 day ration, but give 5 stars for the relief that it is giving my girl!

HUGE difference in my horse

My horses was girth, sensitive to touch and generally unhappy despite a good diet, well fitting saddle and shiny coat. Egusin SLH changed him for the better in about 2 weeks and then after a month on that we switched to this product for maintenance. I have my old horse back without the costly drugs to treat ulcers.

My mare has had colic issues due to ulcers.
This product was recommend to me by the head large animal vet at UC Davis Vet clinic.
It seems to be doing the trick.
