Story Miss Dusty is a 7 year old Yellow Labrador retriever from Louisville, Kentucky! No one would know that Dusty is almost 8, because she has the personality and energy of a pup! With all her excitement for life, one would never have guessed that Dusty suffered an FCE (a spinal stroke) in October of 2015. Her stroke paralyzed her in her back legs and hips. Though this was an unfortunate setback for Dusty, she has never given up and has amazing determination! With therapy (laser, hydro, swim, and the use of an underwater treadmill) Dusty has immensely improved! This sweet girl still loves hanging with her human and snacking on peanut butter. She also loves swimming! We hope Dusty continues to improve and keeps on smiling. What a beautiful girl!
