This is Duke A 130 pound 8 year old Newfie that has an unbelievable amount of hair. He came By way of my late brother in law and ended up in Topeka Kansas. I could of never imagined what an adventure this was going to be.
He loves car rides and I mean that he goes BERSERK IF he thinks he is going and for a 130 pound dog that is an uncontrollable site. He does sit, lay, and roll over real well, as well as shake. Back to the car ride deal he knows what "stay" means! (so he knows he is staying) just don't say "are you ready to go" Because he is ready in a heart beat!
Duke loves to get a big hug and have his belle scratched. I think that's what got me giving that big guy a hug and seeing the look on his face. He has taught me that you can never judge a book by its cover. That berserk dog is actually a fun loving part of our family making us laugh when he makes all the funny noises and expressions. And cry when he gets the cake we were going to have for desert.
As for toys he likes anything I can put a little bit of peanut butter in.
What a Dog.
He is a great dog. He has taught me well.
