i have 4 adult borzoi and its hard to find anything that they all like. but clenz-a-dent rawhide chews are a huge success around here. i have to keep them on a top shelf in the pantry, or else the dogs would steal them and eat them all!
i pass them out every couple of days. the dogs grab them out of my hand and retire to their respective favorite spots in the house. for 20 minutes it is very quiet as the chewing proceeds. no one leaves the tiniest scrap of these yummy chews.
not only are these chews yummy, but they have also eliminated the need to brush their teeth---never a fun thing to do. our vet has noticed a positive difference in their teeth, which she attributes to the chlorhexidine.
i will be buying clenz-a-dent rawhide chews again and again. entirelypets has a great price on them, too.

All my dogs enjoyed this chew. It helped reducing mouth Odor and helped clean some of the tartar off their teeth.

You might want to check out my review on the other major brand of rawhide chews for a product comparison. I have a Cocker Spaniel and he likes both major brands. This brand overall is much thicker and heavier than the other one. I think larger dogs or heavy chewers would prefer the Clenz-a-dent because they would last a bit longer. These chewies are enzyme-treated to "help keep teeth clean" and I think they may chew up a bit faster and easier than plain rawhide. Keep an eye on your dog when he has a rawhide treat-sometimes your dog will try to swallow it when the rawhide is still too big and then you have to pull it back out. Bottom line: I think larger dogs and aggressive chews would like Clenz-a-dent over the other brand. Other than that, the enzymes and treatment are the same.

This product has saved our dogs teeth. We give them to the 3 of them once per day and their plaque is gone. My cocker who has lost 1/2 his teeth due to plaque buildup, now has clean teeth (the rest of them anyways) thanks to these. They do need to get used to them as the enzyme can make them gag a bit at first but they do love them and look forward to getting them every day. We only give them to them when we are present so we don't have any choking issues. We have been using them about a year and a half now and think they are a great! I buy a mix of the medium and large for variety for our furry kids. Wonderful product! We only wish we would have found them sooner.

The Clenzadent chews are too thick and hard for my senior dog. I believe the Ora Cleans chews are better for her because they are thinner and easier for her to chew. Otherwise both my younger dog and senior dog enjoy these chews.

My dogs love them!!!...without reservations! They're not so hard that it could hurt them, they are perfect for their dental hygiene.
