Breed Calico Cat Location Oregon Human Lillian Story It was August 2000 when Bahneetah along with her three siblings were born feral. My husband was about to start his daily archery practice in the haystack in our back yard. Luckily, we usually check the haystack first to make sure the coast is clear. While setting up the distance stakes, I heard these little meows, so we both looked around in the haystack and we found four tiny kittens. We left them there and came back later in the day to see if their mama came back. We noticed that the mother cat had moved one of the kittens, and was planning to move the rest kittens, so we brought the rest of the kittens into the house. Today (August 2015), Bahneetah is the only survivor left as her sister Charr & brother Ebbonny unfortunately crossed the rainbow bridge. Health-wise, Bahneetah’s blood work came back “Beautiful” as the vet said. Sadly, Bahneetah suffers from joint discomfort in her hind legs and has progressively gotten worse over the years. She still has use of her legs, but not full motion like she should. This does not stop her from living life to the fullest! Bahneetah loves her outside time with full supervision from me and my husband.
