Meet Atenas: The Happiest Pit Bull in the Whole World

Story Atenas came into our lives around two years ago. It all began one day, in my neighborhood, when the local pound came to take away a pit bull that had been abandoned inside a house. They took the dog to one of the most populated shelters with the highest kill rate in the area. My friend and I decided to go rescue that pit bull and give her a new home. We went to the shelter to make the arrangements to adopt that pit bull, whose name was Pante.
When we got to the shelter, it so happened to be that Atenas was Pante’s cell mate. Pante and Atenas instantly bonded with my friend and we decided to adopt both of them. Sadly Pante had distemper and passed away two weeks later. She lived a very happy life at the end.
Looking at the bright side it was fated for us to adopt Pante and meet Atenas as well. Atenas is such a happy dog. Just by looking at her you can feel happy. Her energy is vibrant and amazing. She is sweet and obedient. Cuddling with her is the best thing ever. She enjoys going to the beach, car rides, playing with chew toys and eating lots of ice. We love to make her feel special and that is why it’s important for us to include her in everything that we can. She is the best thing that ever happened to us and we are so blessed to have her in our lives.
