About: "Hi, my name is Val, for valiant. My human mom rescued me at one day old when my bird parents threw me out of the nest. My new mom fed me until I could take care of myself. I don't think I'm a bird. I love to ride on Mom's shoulder, & take baths in the kitchen sink. When she calls me I come to just be with her. Lots of the neighbors came to see me all the time as I was growing up, especially the kids. I taught them many things about birds and growing up. I turned 1 year old on Feb 28, 06. Now I have learned to make a nest and am laying eggs. Mom thinks I am beautiful."
