Worked great just hoping I won't have to use it again

I had a friend recommend this product. We have dogs and we have Skunks. Hope I never need to use. A must if dog gets sprayed anytime.

This is absolutely the best skunk shampoo ever! Although Nature's Miracle skunk shampoo works just as well, Skunk Off has a wonderful fragrance to it. It's not overpowering-just, well, fresh and clean and great. I usually just have to use it one time, and the skunk smell is virtually gone. If my dog had been hit close, I will bathe him with it twice. Just as with the Nature's Miracle stuff, DON'T rub it in like you usually do with shampoo, just smooth it on, and then wait five minutes, and wash off with warm water. I, and my dogs, are so thankful for this product. They are back in the house in a jiffy-I could never leave them out anyway-but I don't have to suffer the smell for the next two weeks...or longer. Keep some on hand-you won't be sorry if the need arises!

Our dog got sprayed by a skunk, and after washing her with the suggestions online, we bought skunk off. I had to wash her with the shampoo 3 times before the smell was gone, but was happy she finally smelled good. However, after a rainstorm over a month later, I could smell skunk again, and had to wash her in it again, so it doesn't really take care of it completely. I don't know of anything that works any better, so I guess it's worth it, but it has to be re-applied many many times to finally get rid of the smell completely.

We used the peroxide and dish soap solution right after my dog was sprayed by a skunk. It works well, but there is always a residual smell. After washing her with skunk off shampoo, there was absolutely no smell! I'm very sensitive to skunk smell and can't stand even the slightest trace of it so I was very impressed with this shampoo and how well it got rid of every trace of the skunk.

I reluctantly purchased this product from an emergency vet hospital because the home remedy I was considering included hydrogen peroxide and I didn't think my german shepherds coat would hold up too well to it. After one application of skunk-off to my dogs head and snoot, the smell was gone. I was thoroughly surprised at how effective this product is at removing the odor! I would definitely purchase this product again.

There are other skunk odor removal products out there that are cheaper, but require multiple applications. Then there are the home remedies that are very messy and don't work very well. I have tried them all and Skunk-off shampoo and Skunk-off spray are the only products that really work. I live in a high skunk population area in California, and I keep a supply of these 2 products on hand all the time.

This is the only product that have ever used that really really works on skunk spray, The first time I used it was on a neighbors dog that had just been sprayed I didn't think it would work but the little old lady told me it would I used the skunk off and I was so suprised that the dog did not smell like skunk any more. and then I realized that the skunk smell was not on me . so when ever any body calls me and ask what thay can do for their pet I tel them skunk off , I make a deal with with you If you are not happy with skunk-off I will keep your dog in my houes untill the smell is gone!! but if you are happy with skunk-off you have to give all of my dogs a bath!!! and I have 8 dogs one of them is a bull-mastiff!!!! It has been 2 years and my dogs get into skunks about twice a year my friends are getting used to giving my dogs their baths !!!!!!! I love it ( A #1 product! )
